7. Our QuickBooks Online Connection

The studio uses a private in-house tool to post its own daily takings and expenses into QuickBooks Online. The connection is used by this one business, for its own books, and no other company's data is accessed through it. What is written to QuickBooks is accounting information only: daily totals, tax, payment methods, and supplier expenses. Client names, contact details, and tattoo enquiry details are never sent to QuickBooks. The connection is authorised by signing in at Intuit; we never see or store an Intuit password, only a revocable access token, which is deleted when the connection is disconnected.
