The HeadRush Story

HeadRush Whitby is a custom tattoo studio in Downtown Whitby, Ontario. We do large-scale and multi-session work as well as small pieces. Ross has tattooed since 2014, and Maks and Max worked in Ukraine and across Europe before Whitby. Nadija works in realism and fine line, Amy in black and grey portraits and animals, and Alina in black and grey, colour and fine line.

Every design is drawn for your idea and for the way it sits on your body. Our six artists each have their own specialty: black & grey realism, colour realism, fineline, traditional, illustrative. You sit with the one who does your kind of work.

How We Work

It starts with thirty free minutes. You sit with the artist, work out what the piece is, where it goes and how big it needs to be, and you leave with the price in writing.

When you book the session, a deposit holds the date and comes off the final cost. Your artist has the design ready before you arrive. You check the stencil in the mirror and move it until it sits right, and you can take a break whenever you need one.

The Studio

The studio is at 215 Dundas St East, with free parking behind the building and meters out front on Dundas. Small tattoos can walk in, though a quick call first is best; custom work needs a booking. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm, and to 6pm on Sundays.
